What Are my Yoga CLasses like?
All of my classes are open level. My yoga classes are designed to help you create space in your body to allow you to live an easier life! what. a. concept! Creating space gives you more mobility, sterngth, flexibility which can turn into joy as you ~move~ throughout your day. I do this through sequences of twists, bends, folds, and strengthening and mobility exercises that engage muscles you use and might not use in your everyday life.
I like to think of each class as a dance - no experience required! - sequences are thoughtfully choreographed to guide you to a place where you can get more information from your body about how it’s feeling. We get so caught up in how we look from the outside and yoga is a tool to guide the mind to really teach you how you’re feeling from the inside. By combining strength and mobility exercises, dance-like flows, breathwork, and restorative poses into each of my classes I help you come off of your mat with more information on how you want to live off of your mat.
Why Space?
I love this word. When you have more space in your body - between your joints - you have more mobility in your body so it’s easier to do everyday things like walk up the stairs or reach for something in a high up cabinet.

Another imaging example, imagine you are in a crowded elevator. What does that remind you of? Now imagine the feeling of getting out of that crowded elevator. *sigh of relief in unison* That’s how I like to think of my joints before and after a yoga class.
